Sunningwell & District
about our club
The club was formed in 2000 by a group of gardening enthusiasts from Sunningwell. Since then we have widened our catchment area so much that we have changed the name to Sunningwell & District Gardening Club.
We aim to share our interest and enjoyment of plants and gardens. You don't have to be a Carol Klein to join our group.
We usually meet in Sunningwell Village Hall on the second Thursday of the month, starting at 7:30 pm and finishing around 9:30 pm. We try to get lots of good speakers. The annual membership fee is £6 and there is a small entry fee to each of the meetings.
We also go on trips to places of interest. We have visited many of the interesting gardens in our area, last year we went to Mottisfont Abbey and this year we have planned trips to Coughton Court and Woburn Abbey..
We are always glad to see visitors and new members. We are a friendly bunch, so why don't you give us a try?
